MITCHEL P. GOLDMAN, M.D., is an expert in the areas of dermatology, phlebology (the branch of science dealing with veins), laser surgery, and liposuction. He is especially renowned for his pioneering research and development of multiple laser techniques, and for advancing the technique now widely used for getting the best results with liposuction.

Currently a Clinical Professor of Dermatology/Medicine, University of California, San Diego, Dr. Goldman has written eighteen books, several of which are medical texts considered the definitive texts in the fields of laser surgery, cosmetic surgery, vein removal, and dermatology. Most recently, with model Dianne-York Goldman, he has coauthored the popular You Glow, Girl! series focusing on such topics as teenage skin care, legs, and aging skin.

Dr. Goldman received his Dermatology specialty training at the University of California, Los Angeles after an Internal Medicine internship at the University of California, San Diego. He was Board Certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology in 1986 and by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in 2002. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American College of Phlebology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Goldman graduated summa cum laude from Boston University in 1977, where he achieved academic honors, winning membership in Phi Beta Kappa Epsilon. He went on to graduate from Stanford University Medical School of Medicine in 1982.

DIANNE YORK-GOLDMAN Goldman is the CEO of DYG Mineral Makeup and La Jolla Spa MD, the world's leading medical spa. Dianne brings her aesthetic sense of beauty to DYG and the staff of La Jolla Spa MD as an accomplished model and actress with over 20 years of experience. With Dianne leading the way, La Jolla Spa MD was named "Top Medical Spa in America" in the December 2005 issue of American Spa Magazine. Dianne is the founder of "You Glow Girl!" a teenage skin care company, and has co-authored the popular series "You Glow Girl! The Ultimate Health and Skin Care Guide for Teens," and "Beauty Basics for Teens Journal," with husband and renowned dermatologist Dr. Mitchel P. Goldman. Dianne's most recent book, "Fun in the Sun Safely," an illustrated children's story, was awarded the distinguished Gold Triangle Award from the American Academy of Dermatology. She also lectures girls around the country about health skin care and beauty, and serves on the advisory panel for Healthy Skin and Hair-a journal for the general public sent to all practicing dermatologists.

Dianne has been featured as a leading beauty expert on The Beauty & Fashion Channel, The Boomers Show, iVillage.com, MSN.com, and has helped secure media placement for La Jolla Spa MD on The Today Show, E! She was a recipient of the San Diego Business Journal's "Women Who Mean Business" award in 2005 and 2006; guest speaker and social chair of the American Heart Association; founded the Advancement of Women; is a consultant for the Girl Scouts of America; is the honorary chair of the Vista Hill Foundation and Foundation for Women; serves on several boards including the ISPA and the La Jolla Playhouse; is a trustee of the La Jolla Townhouse Council; chairperson of The Sundowners; member of La Jolla Chamber of Commerce and Promote La Jolla; and is an honorary member of the Fashion Group International.
